Virtual Book Shelf

I have set up my personal book shelf on Shelfari. It's a great site to find people discussing books you've read and enjoyed. You can also set up private groups (a great place for a class book discussion). Just visit www.shelfari.com and while you're there take a moment to visit my shelf. Get a group of friends together and we can set up an online discussion about what you're reading!

A 30-Second Revolution

I recently wrote a review of Jennifer Donnelly's novel Revolution. In getting ready to collaborate with a class on an Animoto project, I decided to do the assignment myself. Enjoy!

What is Read 2.0?

Reading can be both solitary and social. In a technology rich society, interactivity is highly valued. Why shouldn't we use all that Web 2.0 offers to celebrate reading? Introducing Read 2.0!

Read any good books lately? Like to play around on the Internet? Read 2.0 is for you. It's kind of an online book club. Only, we hope you'll join us for some face to face time later on.

In the meantime, all Falcons and Future Falcons are invited to share their reading experiences by creating projects on the web and sharing them here. Follow this link for some great Web 2.0 applications. Many are free. Just be sure to let us know what you're working on!

Send the link to your project to Mrs. Foltz at the email below and be sure you check here often for party times and other Read 2.0 ideas!
